s for spoof

ARTINFO reported on Saturday that the National Portrait Gallery website has changed over to an all-Wojnarowicz, all the time format--including not only the video that had been removed from their galleries, but links, and more links, and even more links to stories about the ensuing scandal...many of which are not flattering for the Smithsonian.

What an odd development!

Also: The Smithsonian "sun" emblem seems to have sprouted a goateed smiley Guy Fawkes mask à la V for Vendetta:

Well, that couldn't possibly mean anything.

Hi Jeffry - - Looks like the NPG site that you mention is an impersonator. The real NPG site is @ http://www.npg.si.edu/ - - the question is, who launched the substitute site?

I'm beginning to think that nobody reads the titles of my posts.

As for the spoof in question: not sure. Seems like something The Yes Men would do, albeit not as outrageous/funny.
